Minutes of April 28, 2008

Selectmen present: Rick Hotchkiss, Cheryl Labadie, Bob Thayer 

Town Officials present: Randy Smith 

Citizens present: Christa Price 

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM 

Town bills were reviewed and approved. 

Intent to cut application was reviewed and approved. 

Purchase order for police department (Keene Transmission) was approved. Purchase order for auditors is on hold until they talk to Ann Gray. 

A proposal from Keene Door for a new door on highway garage was approved.

Citizens present: Bill Labadie, Bob Switzer 

Town Officials present: Karl Wheeler, Al Henry 

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm 

Bills were reviewed and approved. 

Bill Labadie came seeking a building permit; he has an existing permit that is still valid. 

Bob Switzer was concerned about getting the selectmen minutes in time, the minutes we are sending him are in a format that he is unable to open. Rhonda Hull will E-mail them directly to him.

Citizens present: Frank Paquette, Mark Paquette and Ms. Roberts speaking for her mother, Joyce Roberts

Town bills were reviewed and approved. 

Tim Aho let the selectmen know that he attended the Surry withdrawal meeting and he brought all the paperwork from that meeting for the Town files. 

Purchase orders presented for approval were -Contribution for the sixth grade trip paid to North Elementary schools for $700.00

Minutes of March 24, 2008

Selectmen present: Rick Hotchkiss, Cheryl Labadie, Bob Thayer 

Town Officials present: Al Henry 

Citizens present: Herb Nims 

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM 

Town bills were reviewed and approved. 

Rick Hotchkiss welcomes Bob Thayer to the selectmen board. Cheryl L. makes a motion to appoint Rick H. chairman of selectman. This motion was 2nd by Bob Thayer and unanimously passed.

Citizens present: Henry Brooks 

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm 

Henry Brooks had an application for current use and this was approved. 

Town bills were reviewed and approved. 

Chris Pratt asked for $8275.00 to be transferred to Sullivan Public Library Trustees for the purpose of operating the library.

City Officials present: AI Henry and Randy Smith 

Citizens present: John Little, John Bolles and Victor Malivetz 

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm 

Town bills were reviewed and accepted. 

John Little from Apple Hill wanted to see what the policy was on obtaining permits to start a farm on his property. He plans to have some bee hives. The selectmen told him that agriculture is permitted activity and a permit is not necessary.
