Minutes of April 10, 2012

Present:  Christa Patterson, Randy Smith, Roger Sweet, Eric White, Hilliare Wilder, Chip Woodbury and Becky Cummings.

The minutes of the March meeting were accepted as read.

Eric recommended before the cut on the Town Farm that the cut on the northeast corner of the trail be marked so the forester and loggers know where to stop for the buffer.  He has also spoken with Steve Roberge (UNH Cooperative Extension Forester for Cheshire County) about an educational workshop with Swift Corwin (forester) for the public during the cut with an explanation of what they are doing and the use of the interesting equipment.

Christa gave a report on her day at the NHACC Workshop.

Roger (for the Energy Committee) said work is progressing on the removal of clapboards on the east side of the library.  Because of the potential of lead paint, DEA&OSHA safety requirements must be followed for removal, transportation and disposal of them.  A special dumpster will be brought in.

Town clean up day is April 28th.  Litter Free NH is not offering any “rewards” this year.  In the past we have received daffodil bulbs and lilac bushes.  Lunch will once again be served to those participating.

Meeting adjourned at 7:55 pm.

Respectfully Submitted,
Becky Cummings
