Minutes of November 11, 2014

SULLIVAN CONSERVATION COMMISSION
Sullivan Town Hall
Nov. 11, 2014

Present:  Lindsay Hamrick, Roger Sweet, Eric White, Hilliare Wilder and Becky Cummings.

The minutes of the October meeting were approved as read.

Eric read two Intents to Cut that had been filed with the selectmen.  The first from Brett Forcier for 35 acres on South Rd. and the other from Lakeville Shores for 40 acres on Bowlder Rd.

He received notice that $1400 has been deposited into the Conservation Land Use Change Fund.  He is not sure if it was money owed or new and will find out.

Eric also has signs From Fish&Game concerning ATV use to post on Winch Hill (Town Farm), an area of concern.

Roger reported the Energy Committee would like to do an energy audit on the town hall next.  They contacted Margaret Dillon to get an estimate and it will cost about $1500.  The commission will apply for a grant to go towards the cost.

Roger also mentioned that Amelia Perron on Apple Hill is interested in joining the conservation commission.  She will come to the next meeting.   Wendy Pelletier is also interested but can’t come on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.  We will see about meeting on the 3rd Tuesday instead, beginning in January.

Eric communicated with Nicholas Coates, Executive Director of NHACC to see if it would be possible to move the conservation funds from one account to another.  He received an answer but need to get some clarification on it.

Meeting adjourned at 7:55 pm.

Respectfully Submitted,
Becky Cummings
