Minutes of Feb. 3, 2010

Chairman Bob Switzer called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Present, in addition to the chairman, were members Michele Degree, Dave Jakway, Laura Lewandowski, and Selectmen‘s representative Cheryl Labadie.

Absent was secretary Ann Sweet.

Minutes of the meeting of January 6, 2009, were accepted as distributed.


Preliminary consultation for subdivision

Mark Smith, 84 Boynton Road, presented preliminary plat for subdivision of 22+
acres into one lot of 2.49 acres with existing home and one of almost 20 acres
Chairman Switzer went over the checklist and noted need for designation of soil types on the plat plan. Mr. Smith asked that notification of abutters be made for a hearing at the March 3 meeting of the planning board.

Preliminary consultation for Site Plan Review
Jim Forrest, 267 Center Street, would like to open a gun shop at his existing business location. He says he has already checked with the zoning board and there is no variance requirement to add gun shop to his existing business. He has a copy of the site plan review guidelines. He does not want to apply formally to the ATF until he knows site plan is approved. He will return to the March meeting with final site plan.

Preliminary consultation for subdivision
Linda and Richard Blanchard, 162 Gilsum Road, propose to split their property
into two lots. They have a copy of subdivision requirements. Chairman Switzer
explained the process of getting property surveyed. They will return when they have their subdivision plans in hand

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:18 PM
