Minutes of February 7, 2007

Chairman Steve Hamilton called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present, in addition to the chairman, were members Joe Fitzpatrick, Keith Martin, Ann Sweet and Bob Switzer. Richard Hotchkiss represented the selectmen. Absent were Michelle Degree and Dave Jakway. Present was Selectman Richard Labadie. Mr. Martin substituted for Ms. Degree.

Minutes of the meeting of January 3. 2007, were approved as distributed.

Cruiser Parts/Cruiser Creations: continued public hearing on completeness of the application for Site Plan approval: Doug Valley
When Mr. Valley did not appear for a resumption of the hearing which had been continued from the January board meeting, Chairman Hamilton asked for other business in case Mr. Valley should arrive late.

The Board of Adjustment’s hearing on a proposed variance for a property on Valley Road close to Otter Brook for a septic system was continued from January 24 to February 28 at 7 p.m.

Town Meeting will be March 14, following the town election on March 13.

Since the normal meeting of the planning board in July falls on the July 4 holiday, it will be postponed until July 11.

The ten-year state transportation plan is available for perusal at Southwest Region Planning Commission office.

The spring planning conference will be April 28, and its program can be found at www.nh.gov/OEP.

Questions from the membership
Status of Csenge driveway permit. Since no bond money has been placed in escrow, there will be no building permit issued. Any new owner will have to sign a revised driveway permit application. At that time, the clock will start ticking.

Capital Improvements Program. Selectmen will compose for PB discussion in March

Proposed changes to driveway regulations will be discussed in March.

Since Mr. Valley had not appeared by 7:30 p.m., a motion (Hotchkiss/Switzer) to carry the hearing over to the March 7 meeting of the planning board passed without dissent. It was agreed to send a letter to Mr. Valley with this announcement.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:34 p.m.
