Minutes of the Meeting of June 7, 2017

The meeting was called to order at 7:12 p.m. by Pro tempore Chairman Ann Sweet. In addition to the pro tempore chairman, members Milton Trimitsis and Laura Lewandowski were present. Joe Lewandowski represented the selectmen. Absent members were Dorothy Miles, Peter Miles, Leslie Casey and Mark Smith (alternate member). Also present John Bolles, Todd Bergeron and John Mc Nichols.

Since the chairman Leslie Casey was absent it was voted to have Ann Sweet Pro tempore Chairman.
As the secretary Dorothy Miles was absent Laura Lewandowski would be secretary.

A motion (Laura Lewandowski/Milton Trimitsis) to approve as distributed the minutes of May 3, 2017,   passed without dissent.

Mr. Bolles was inquiring about his driveway permit. On August 3, 2016 Mr. Bolles had presented a sketch of his property stating he wished to have a driveway cut approved for entering his 54.5 acre piece south of his dwelling place (tax map 05 lot 0042). He stated that he was withdrawing the second driveway application. Since there exsists a permitted driveway on that piece north of his dwelling, a second one would violate the driveway regulations (IV.5). After much discussion on August 3, 2017, the consensus was that the exsisting permitted driveway could revert  to an agricultural access, allowing the new driveway cut  in anticipation of construction of a house in the indefinite future to be permited. The application was accepted as complete. The driveway committee ( Mark Smith, Randy Smith and Peter Miles plus a conservation commission rep.) will look at the conditions (sight lines, etc.) at a date to be determined and return to the board with a recommendation. The planning board would look into the status of his permit and let Mr. Bolles know.

Mr. Bergeron brought in a site map. He reported that the abutters to his and Mc Nichols had not received their letters of notification. Mr. Bergeron was very distressed that the money for notifying the abutters was paid and they had not been notified. Letters to the abutters need to be sent out. The planning board would look into this matter and see what happened.

Driveway permit for Travis Blanchard is pending on the approval from the state.

There being no further business, a motion (Milton Trimitsis/Laura Lewandowski) to adjourn passed without dissent at 8:10 p.m.
