Minutes of May 4, 2011

Chairman Bob Switzer called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Present, in addition to the chairman, were members  Michelle Degree,  Laura Lewandowski, John Little, Mark Smith, and Ann Sweet.  Absent was Dave Jakway.  There was no selectmen‘s representative.

Also present were Marlo and Bill Paju.

Minutes of the meeting of April 6, 2011, were approved as distributed.

Chairman Switzer asked for the revised site plan.  Mrs. Paju had added measurements of the parking spaces.  She quickly headed the plat with their name and address and located the proposed lighting.  She will copy the revised plat and bring it to the town hall on May 4.  She presented the secretary with payment  ($90)for the notices for the meeting.  The 36” convex mirror to be placed across from the entrance to the shop to increase visibility is on order.  Mrs. Paju expects delivery of the liability insurance on May 4 and plans to have the sign (Shop Open 500’) to be erected that same day.  There will be a temporary vegetable stand in place during the summer.  The shop is expected to be open from 10-6 Tuesday through Sunday.
A motion (Smith/Little) to declare the application complete passed without dissent.

There being no further discussion, a motion (Smith/Little) to approve the site plan passed without dissent.

Spring road cleanup
Mrs Sweet reported the success of the road cleaning by more than 50 volunteers who enjoyed a lunch and good fellowship following the morning of gleaning and heard about the ACCESS Program (providing before and after school care and activities) for Sullivan and Gilsum children.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
