Approved Meeting Minutes

Board members present:

 Richard Hotchkiss (chair), Mark Paquette, Bob Thayer.

Absent:

 None.

Also present:

Jody McDermott, John Prior.
  1. CALL TO ORDER:
    2.  R. Hotchkiss opened the meeting at 7:35 p.m.

  2. CITIZENS’ DISCUSSION: None scheduled.

  3. APPOINTMENTS: Prior to the meeting, the board of selectmen was visited by James Gibney of the NH Department of Revenue Administration. Mr. Gibney discussed the status of current-use land status and exemptions in town.

  4. DEPARTMENT HEADS’ REPORTS: None present.

  5. SELECTMEN’S BUSINESS:
  1. Approval of Minutes:


    2. MOTION:

    R. Hotchkiss moved to approve minutes from the April 18, 2011 Selectmen’s meeting.


    SECOND:

     B. Thayer seconded.

    VOTE:

     3 yea, 0 nay, 0 abstention, motion PASSES.
  2. Payroll and Vendor Manifest – April 25, 2011: Signed as approved.
  3. J. McDermott reported that Primex, which provides health insurance and workers’ compensation insurance for town employees will no longer provide pooled health coverage, effective July 2012. R. Hotchkiss said the town should explore comparable coverage from other providers.
  4. NH Public Deposit Investment Pool

    5. MOTION: R. Hotchkiss moved that the town remain in the NHPDIP, and sign the application..


    SECOND:

     M. Paquette seconded.

    VOTE:

     3 yea, 0 nay, 0 abstention, motion PASSES.
  5. Purchase order: $3,398.40 for 2,400 lbs. magnesium chloride for dust control of roads, from Solutions. – Signed as approved.
  6. PSNH Permit for Maintenance – Signed as approved.
