  1. CALL
    TO ORDER: Chairman Pro-tempore Laura Merrifield called the meeting
    to order at

    6:30 pm.
    Laura Merrifield made a motion to approve the minutes of the April
    18, 2016 meeting, seconded by Joseph Lewandowski. The minutes were
    unanimously approved.

  1. SELECTMEN’S
    BUSINESS:

  1. Report
    of Timber Cut 15-433-04-T, Ferry Brook Road
    -Map
    5 Lot 21
    -Approved
    by Board.

  1. Intent
    to Cut Timber-Boynton Road Map 3 Lot 21
    -Approved
    by Board.

  1. Abatement
    Application for Eversource
    -Signed
    by Board, abatement denied based on recommendation from Avitar.

  1. Land
    Use Change Tax
    -Signed
    by Board for 132 Apple Hill Road Map 6 Lot 75.

  1. Utilities
    Communication from Avitar
    -A
    letter about utilities appraisal has come from Avitar; the Board
    will re-examine this at a later date as it may turn out to be non
    applicable.

  1. Summer
    Schedule for Selectmen
    -There
    will be a condensed summer schedule for June and July. The Board
    will meet June 6

    and July 11
    th
    and 25
    th;
    resuming regular meetings in August.

  1. Bids
    for Town Hall concrete work
    -One
    bid was received from Target New England; a follow up of how exactly
    the work will be done will be requested.

  1. Fire
    Department Update
    -Fire
    Chief, Al Henry came in to update the Board on the brush fires that
    the department had been fighting in Stoddard. There were two minor
    injuries that have been reported to the State. The Fire Department
    might have an opportunity to buy a used 2001 Rescue Truck/Pumper to
    replace the 1985 Rescue Truck now in service and will get more
    details.

  1. Sanitation
    Concern
    -The
    Robinsons came in with a concern about 44 Hubbard Road, Map 3 Lot
    99-The Selectmen’s office will follow up.

  1. Conservation
    Commission Update
    -Jewett
    Park
    -The
    Conservation Committee has created a new sub-committee called the
    Sullivan Trail Group. This group would like to create a trail
    network through Sullivan; the immediate goal is to clean up existing
    trails with future goals of expansion. The Conservation Commission
    also has a goal of cleaning up Jewett Park for resident use.

  1. Request
    for Junk Yard Permit-Cruiser Parts
    -Map
    6 Lot 13 Sub 1-Doug Valley requested a Junk Yard Permit. A site
    visit will be scheduled.

  1. Personnel
    Manual
    -Reviewed
    and a new draft will be generated for meeting in two weeks.

  1. Payroll,
    Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders
    -
    Approved as submitted.

  1. Miscellaneous/General
    Discussion
    -NHMA
    Legislative Bulletin received, Congress woman Ann Kuster sent
    contact information to post, DRA Timber representative, Rick Evans
    will stop in this week regarding property on 664 Centre Street Map 3
    Lot 39, Marsha Cook gave the Board her Functional Resume,
    Correspondence from ZBA for Apple Hill proposed cell tower site.

9:00 pm.
