TO ORDER: Chairman Laura Merrifield called the meeting to order at
Laura Merrifield made a motion to approve the minutes of the
December 5, 2016 meeting, seconded by Joe Lewandowski. The minutes
were unanimously approved.
Smith Road Agent-Draft letter to resident about snow plow turn
around on Tyler Lane-The
letter was reviewed. Three options were discussed; the resident
cleans up their yard, the resident asks for a discontinuance on that
piece of road or the Road agent will plow as far as safely possible
and then stop.

Apparatus-Capital Reserve Request for signatures-Signed
cards and transactions reviewed and signed by the Board. Laura will
follow up with Jon Rice of Avitar about one transaction.
Discussion on Animal Control-
This topic will be reviewed with a full Board.
Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders-Approved
County Sherriff response to dog bite reporting questions.
Communication from Attorney Gary Kinyon of Bradley and Faulkner
around junk yard inspection. SWRPC Highlights and letter about
brownfields received. DES and Eversource both sent communications
about vegetation maintenance in the area. Budget organizational
meeting on Tuesday, December 13 announced. Laura Merrifield will be
writing an article for the Town newsletter.
Laura Merrifield moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:28 pm.
