Board members present: Chairman Gary Patnode, Laura Merrifield, Joseph Lewandowski

CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Gary Patnode called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Chairman Gary Patnode made a motion to approve the minutes of the February 22, 2016 meeting, seconded by Laura Merrifield. The minutes were unanimously approved with corrections.


Waiver of interest and penalties for 619 Centre Street-The Town Clerk submitted a written request to waive accrued interest and penalties due to an error; approved by the Board.

Review of the Town Report-Reviewed and ready to print with a few minor revisions.

Payroll, Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders-Approved as submitted.

Miscellaneous/General Discussion-Trustees report, MS-9, Distributed at request of Mackensen and Company. Legislative Bulletin for NHMA received, Primex will have the papers for Property Liability Insurance ready soon and a representative for Senator Ayotte will be at town hall to answer questions from 11-12 on March 17th. Discussion ensued regarding recovering money from recipients of Town assistance, more to come. Chairman Patnode brought a list of belongings from the dissolution of the Police Department; these items will be given to the Fire Department for their yard sale. Kate will also bring a list of items to the Board for possible inclusion in the yard sale. Selectmen Merrifield will be absent from the April 11th meeting.

Legal Letters-The letters from the Town’s attorneys, Bradley and Faulkner were reviewed. In regards to the property on Ellis Road, the fees owed the Town have been paid in full and Attorney Sam Bradley proposes that the compliance inspection take place in April. The Board agrees with this proposal. In regards to the property on Gilsum Road Attorney Gary Kinyon proposes to file a motion for further orders with the Court to inform them of Attorney Gavin’s inspection and compliance in August of 2015. These further orders would also include the Town’s waiver of the civil penalties, acceptance of a payment plan and periodic inspections of the property to ensure future compliance.



    MOTION: Chairman Gary Patnode moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:43pm.
