  1. CALL
    TO ORDER: Chairman Laura Merrifield called the meeting to
     order at
    6:30 pm. Laura Merrifield made a motion to approve
     
    the minutes
    of the January 16, 2017 meeting, seconded
     
    by Joe Lewandowski. The
    minutes were unanimously approved.

  1. PUBLIC
    COMMENT-None

  1. SELECTMEN’S
    BUSINESS:

  1. Discussion
    about Purchasing Policy
    -The Board reviewed the policy
     
    with the
    Road Agent Randy Smith and changed some of the wording. A

    final
    draft will be distributed at the next meeting. Randy also brought up

    a concern about the gun range near to his property; he will get more

    information but may come back to the Board for guidance.


  1. 2017
    Annual Service Agreements
    -Twin Bridges Services-Signed by

    Board.
    Credit request for GH Berlin Windward from the Highway

    Department
    signed by Board. Lawn Maintenance Agreement with

    Larson’s Property
    Service signed by Board.

  1. Determination
    of Taxability of “show home” for Steve Hamilton
    -It

    was
    determined that the manufactured home that Mr. Hamilton wants to

    use
    as a “show home” is not taxable as proposed. A letter will be
    sent to

    Mr. Hamilton with this decision.

  1. Payroll,
    Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders
    -Approved as submitted.

  1. Miscellaneous/General
    Discussion
    -Three Legislative Bulletins from

    the NHMA received.
    Ranger Matt Apgar called and he has approved the

    Stoddard brush fire
    reimbursement at the state level. Approval for septic

    system for 509
    Gilsum Road received from the NHDES. E-mail from

    Peoples Bank, they
    will waive bank fees for our account. Check-in e-

    mail from Rob
    DiLuzio about ambulance service for 2017. E-mail from

    Leslie Casey
    with SWRPC Transportation Improvement Projects letter.

    Communication
    from US Bankruptcy Court relative to a settlement at

    101 Gilsum
    Road, referring to legal counsel. Trustees of Trust fund year

    end
    reports received.
