  1. CALL TO ORDER: Chairman
    Laura Merrifield called the meeting to order at

    6:30 pm.
    Laura Merrifield made a motion to approve the minutes of the January
    2, 2017 meeting, seconded by Joe Lewandowski. The minutes were
    unanimously approved.

  1. PUBLIC
    COMMENT-None

  1. SELECTMEN’S
    BUSINESS:

  1. Discussion
    about letter from Pittsburg/Northern Pass
    -The
    Towns of Pittsburg, Clarksville and Stewartstown are asking for
    letters of support from other towns as Eversource is trying to
    circumvent regulatory issues. This could set a precedent; so
    Sullivan will write a letter of support.

  1. Jim
    Forrest-267 Centre Street
    -Mr.
    Forrest brought a written plan to the meeting. He reviewed the
    progress that he had made and explained his plans for cleaning up
    his property. He requested an extension on his clean up until June
    30, and the Board granted it.

  1. Septic
    Plan for 509 Gilsum Road
    -Stephen
    Pro for owner Nicholas Perra
    -The
    Board signed and stamped the septic plan.

  1. Continued
    Discussion on Animal Control
    -There
    is a state law relative to a dog control; the Board discussed the
    state law; if the Town wanted to make the law stricter then they
    could do that by Ballot question. Laura Merrifield made a motion to
    defer to the State dog control law for the present; seconded by
    David Beers. The vote was unanimous in the affirmative.

    Policy
    -The
    Board will wait to act until there is feedback from Department
    Heads.

  1. Payroll,
    Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders
    -Approved
    as submitted.

  1. Miscellaneous/General
    Discussion
    -NHMA
    Legislative Bulletin received. December Planning Board minutes
    received. SWRPC Highlights received. Audit date set for May 8
    th.
    2017 Holiday Schedule approved by the Selectmen. Discussion
    continued from the last meeting about employees and municipal
    officials.
