  1. CALL
    TO ORDER: Chairman Laura Merrifield called the meeting to order at

    6:30 pm. Laura Merrifield
    made a motion to approve the minutes of the June 20, 2016 meeting,
    seconded by Joseph Lewandowski. The minutes were unanimously
    approved.

  1. SELECTMEN’S
    BUSINESS:

  1. RFP
    for Town Hall Floor Refinishing
    -
    The Board edited the RFP and approved a list of vendors to send the
    proposal too. A request for proposals will also appear in the Keene
    Sentinel.

  1. Acknowledgement
    of Financial Reports and Adjusting Journal Entries-May 2016
    -Report
    acknowledged by Board.

  1. Brush
    Fire Reimbursement
    -The Board
    decided to follow current tradition and not seek State reimbursement
    where the amount totaled less than $250.00.

  1. Oil/Diesel/Propane
    updates
    -Prices reviewed and
    more pricing will be sought out for decision at next meeting.

  1. DRA
    Veterans Credit
    -This credit
    will be more thoroughly examined at budget time as it expands
    eligibility significantly.

  1. Final
    Review of Personnel Handbook
    -Adopted
    with one last amendment. Motion made by Laura and Seconded by Joe;
    Manual adopted by roll call vote of 2-0.

  1. Payroll,
    Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders
    -
    Approved as submitted; account number will be added to PDIP
    paperwork and Kate will ask Randy about road crack sealing quotes.

  1. Miscellaneous/General
    Discussion
    - Rick Evans, DRA
    Timber Tax Appraiser sent copies of warning letter to the properties
    where there had been timber cutting without an intent filed.
    Shredding of Town documents was completed. Hazard Mitigation Plan
    meeting will be held on July 25
    th
    at 6pm and Lisa Murphy of SWRPC will attend to answer questions.
    United Way flyer received. PLT notice received. Valley Junk Yard
    Permit issued. Upcoming hearing rescheduled. Memo from Healthtrust
    about affordable Health Act fee. Memo from MHMA about upcoming
    legislative policy process. Letter about WIC from SWCS received.
    Monadnock Farm and Community Coalition fundraiser invitation
    received. Trustee’s monthly report and school trust fund audit
    received. Eversource vegetation management notice received. Vet
    Service Project invitation received.


  1. NON-PUBLIC: For purpose of legal. At
    8:12 pm Laura Merrifield made a motion to enter into a Non-Public
    session, seconded by Joe Lewandowski. Roll call vote was 2-0 to
    enter into a Non-Public session. At 8:15 pm Non-Public session was
    adjourned by unanimous vote.
