July 2, 2012 – 7:30 PM

Sullivan Town Hall

Board members present: Mark Paquette, Gary Patnode

Department heads present: Non

Also present: Eric White, Mr.&Mrs. Zielinski

A. CALL TO ORDER: Mark Paquette called the meeting to order at 7:30PM

The Zielinski’s appeared before the Selectmen to discuss a neighbor’s fence that

was installed with the wrong side facing their direction. They questioned whether there is an ordinance regarding fences in Sullivan, which there currently is not. Police Chief Karl Wheeler feels there is a State of New Hampshire ordinance regarding the way a fence is to be installed. The Selectmen advised the Zielinkski’s that this was a civil matter and out of their hands.

Eric White discussed with the Selectmen the upcoming timber cut in the Town Forest.

The current culvert on the property will not stand up to the wear and tear of the machinery due to its age and condition. The Selectmen instructed Eric to get an estimate/bid on what it would cost the logging operation to do the project which would be paid for from the proceeds of the cut.

C. Department Heads: None

D. Selectmen’s Business:

General business including the approving of payroll and vendor payments, review of invoices and PO’s were addressed.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:35PM.

Respectfully Submitted,

Karen B. Luebkeman,
