Del Ouellette III requested permission to open an automobile repair shop at 195 Bowlder Road. Selectmen advised Mr. Ouellette that he would need to meet with the Planning Board.

C. Department Heads:

Randy Smith updated the Selectmen on invoices received as a result of the May 29th flooding. Currently the grader is out being serviced.

Police Chief Wheeler shared with the Selectmen a complaint received by the Zielinski’s regarding a fence that had been installed on a neighboring property with the correct side facing out on the road frontage end but the incorrect side being exposed on the lower end which is visible from their home. Police Chief Wheeler believes that there is a State rule dictating which side faces the public but will advise the Zielinski’s that this is a civil matter and should be handled accordingly.

D. Selectmen’s Business:.

General business including the approving of payroll and vendor payments, review of invoices and PO’s were addressed.

The Town will be submitting paperwork to the Department of Revenue Administration requesting permission to use funds on hand to pay expenses for road repairs as a consequence of the flood. FEMA is expected to reimburse 75% of the cost of these repairs but until then the Town will need to use its own money to pay the contractors who assisted with emergency road repairs.

E. ADJOURNMENT:

Meeting was adjourned at 8:55PM.

Respectfully Submitted,
