  1. CALL
    TO ORDER: Chairman Pro-tempore Laura Merrifield called the meeting
    to order at

    6:30
    pm. Laura Merrifield made a motion to approve the minutes of the
    June 6, 2016 meeting, seconded by Joseph Lewandowski. The minutes
    were unanimously approved.

  1. SELECTMEN’S
    BUSINESS:

  1. Election
    of Board Chairman
    -Joe
    Lewandowski nominated Laura Merrifield to be the Chairman of the
    Board, Dave Beers seconded the motion. Vote was in the affirmative.

  1. Stipend
    Change Form
    -The
    forms were signed. Proration of new Selectman’s stipend proposed.

  1. Sullivan
    Hazard Mitigation Plan Update
    -FEMA
    has conditionally approved the plan and the next step is a public
    hearing.

  1. Warrant
    for Dog Registration Fees
    -Signed
    by Board.

  1. Application
    for payment from Trust Funds-Town Hall Concrete Repairs
    -Signed
    by Board.

  1. Draft
    RFP for Town Hall floor refinishing
    -A
    draft was distributed for comment at next meeting.

  1. Primex-Acceptance
    of Transitional Endorsement on new insurance plan
    -As
    the Town changes Property Liability insurance coverage; Primex has
    offered a free program to cover any gaps in potential claims.
    Paperwork signed by Board.

  1. Payroll,
    Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders
    -
    Approved as submitted with the exception of a Fire Department bill
    needing more documentation and a Fire Department bill that needed
    clarification around reimbursement from the State for Brush Fires
    Fund.

  1. Miscellaneous/General
    Discussion
    -John
    Ginsburg and Mrs. Watterson both contacted Town hall with assurances
    that their animals would be better contained. Wendy Pelletier of
    Cardinal Surveying and Land Planning submitted confirmation of a
    property line adjustment. NH Office of Energy and Planning has a
    questionnaire, it will be given to Leslie of the Planning Board and
    Ann of the Energy Committee. SWRPC highlights received. Thank you
    note from Southwestern Community Services received. Update from
    Mitchell Municipal Group around Fairpoint Litigation. PA-28
    Inventory form will be ordered from the State. Centennial Plates
    will be given to the Church and Library for distribution. Rick
    Evans, DRA Timber Tax Appraiser called to inform the Board that he
    would be issuing a warning letter to the properties where there had
    been timber cutting without an intent filed. Kate will follow up
    with our Lawyer Bradley and Faulkner around Junk Yard inspections
    and Laura will continue working on a code of ethics and meeting
    procedures.
