  1. CALL
    TO ORDER: Chairman Gary Patnode called the meeting to order at 6:30
    PM. Gary Patnode made a motion to approve the minutes of the March

    regular meeting and suggested clarification to item #4. Laura
    Merrifield seconded the motion and the minutes were unanimously
    approved as amended.

  1. SELECTMEN’S
    BUSINESS:

  1. Laura
    Merrifield made a motion to appoint Gary Patnode as Chairman of the
    Board. Seconded by Joe Lewandowski. Mr. Patnode graciously
    accepted the appointment.

  2. The
    Board reviewed a decision letter to Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton denying
    their 2014 property tax abatement.

  3. At
    the request of the Town Clerk, the Board approved and signed the
    following appointments:

Overseer
of Public Welfare – Judith Sadoski

Conservation
Committee – Eric White and John Woodbury

Planning
Board – Laura Lewandowski, Ann Sweet and Leslie Casey

  1. The
    Board signed an application for disbursement from Capital Reserves
    pertaining to the Library furnace replacement.

  2. The
    Board acknowledged an educational opportunity from Property
    Liability Trust scheduled for April 16, 2015 in Swanzey.

  3. The
    Board acknowledged communications from Upton&Hatfield and Gary
    Roberge (Avitar) regarding an update on the PSNH tax abatement
    litigation.

  4. The
    Board signed various personnel documents relating to rate or stipend
    changes and a new stipend as approved at Town meeting. W-4 forms
    were disbursed to Joe and Laura Lewandowski.

  5. Payroll
    and vendor payments were approved.

General
discussion ensued: Mrs. Merrifield reported that Town attorney
Maria Gavin will be providing an agreement between the Town and Al
Jones regarding the junk yard resolution for the Board consideration
at next meeting. Mr. Patnode shared an “Economic Impact Report –
January 2015” from Southwestern Community Services and requested it
be held on file. Mr. Patnode delivered a check for $5,500 from the
Town of Roxbury. This represents the balance due for the sale of the
2008 police cruiser. A letter requesting the disbursement of
$7,965, as approved by Town meeting, for Library operations was
received from Chris Pratt. Laura Lewandowski was asked for an update
on the Bowlder and South Road items. She responded she will be
following up with a letter to Greg and Darlene Hurt regarding a
concern they had expressed and she had been unsuccessful in having a
certified letter sent to the owner on South Road. She will be
following with hand delivering a letter to the residence. Chairman
Patnode welcomed Joe Lewandowski to the Board. There was a general
sharing of information and procedures. It was agreed Joe would
attend Planning Board meetings April – July, Laura August –
November and Gary December to March. Gary will accompany Joe to the
April meeting.

    MOTION: Laura Merrifield moved to adjourn the meeting at
    8:10 PM
