Town of Sullivan, N.H. Board of Selectmen

Non-Approved Meeting Minutes Draft

March 19, 2012 – 7:30 PM

Sullivan Town Hall

Board members present: Mark Paquette, Gary Patnode

Department heads present: Randy Smith

Also present: Karen Luebkeman, Administrative Assistant

A. CALL TO ORDER: Mark Paquette called the meeting to order at 7:31PM

Chris Pratt presented a written request for the library operating funds for 2012 in the amount of $8,250.00 be distributed.

Chris Pratt brought the Selectmen current with his efforts in getting painting and repair estimates for the Town Library. It appears that the clapboards on the east side of the building will need to be replaced. The girth board and sill are going. Mr. Pratt suggested that we start with painting the addition as it represents a simple paint job. He will continue to pursue getting estimates and a course of action for the main part of the library.

C. Department Heads:

Randy Smith shared with the Selectmen the current conditions of the town roads and the fact that Gilsum Road was in poor shape. He discussed that a significant amount of stone would be needed to address the situation at a cost of $5,000.00.

The selectmen advised that we needed to keep the road passable, but that it was important to try to minimize the costs as well. Randy shared that a significant portion of the stone budget for 2012 had already been used to date.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:15PM

Respectfully Submitted,

Karen B. Luebkeman,

Administrative Assistant, Town of Sullivan
