CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Pro-tempore Laura Merrifield called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Laura Merrifield made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 15, 2016 meeting, seconded by Joseph Lewandowski. The minutes were unanimously approved with one change. Laura Merrifield made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 15, 2016 non-public meeting, seconded by Joseph Lewandowski. The minutes were unanimously approved.

SELECTMEN’S BUSINESS:

Paul Leclerc of 143 Apple Hill Road-Request for building permit extension-Extension granted through December 31, 2016.

Approval of Tax Warrant-Board signed the Warrant.

Junk Yard Permit for James Valley of Cruiser Parts-Signed by Board and will be issued upon payment and license number for oil furnace.

Library Roof Work-Calls were made to get additional quotes for the Library roof. In two weeks no other quotes were received.  The Board will hire Guyer Roofing to do the work. Library Trustees will be contacted to see if they have a time preference.

Document shredding estimate-The estimate was approximately $120 to shred 30 boxes, the shredding will be set up.

Selectmen’s Position-The Board discussed interested candidates and will be following up with David Beers. Another person was interested but could only serve if the meetings were changed to Saturdays.

Personnel Manuel-Distributed for final review.

Acknowledgement of Monthly Reports and Adjusting Journal Entries-April-As recommended by the auditors a cover sheet was generated. The reports were acknowledged and a further review will happen next meeting.

Payroll, Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders- Approved as submitted.

Miscellaneous/General Discussion-NHMA Legislative Bulletin received, Eversource has contracted with Utility Data Contractors so their vehicles will be driving in Town, Direct TV request for information around licenses and permits and none are needed, Communication from NHDOT around federal funds for pedestrian and cyclist road improvements. ZBA meeting for Cell Tower on Apple Hill is June 2nd at 7pm at the Town Hall. Items for the Fire Department Yard Sale approved. Follow up on farm animal control complaints, Laura will write a letter to the owners, questionnaire from Plodzik and Sanderson reviewed.
