Approved Meeting Minutes, January 14, 2019

Board members present: Laura Merrifield and Marsha Cook 
Department Heads/Officers: None
Staff: Jamie Cox, Administrative Assistant

Public: Phil Crotto, Chip Woodbury and Kathy Woodbury

CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Laura Merrifield called the meeting to order at 6:30pm. Marsha Cook made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 7, 2019 meeting, seconded by Laura Merrifield. The minutes were unanimously approved as amended.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None

SELECTMEN’S BUSINESS:
Trustees of the Sullivan Congregational Church- Phil Crotto representing the SCC is requesting the Town plow and sand the church driveway and parking lot. He said the church and town have long shared overflow parking and access to the dumpster. Kathy Woodbury reminded the Board the church is also a designated emergency shelter. It was noted the church would shovel walkways and entryways. They are now paying $35 per plowing and $35 per sanding. Jamie to contact Todd Smith and get his thoughts on cost and report back to Selectmen.

Acknowledgment of Monthly Financial Reports and Adjusting Journal Entries- Dec

Loren Martin of Avitar requested a startup meeting for the 2019 update. Jamie to provide available dates to Loren.
The occupancy/use permit for 34 Connor Drive was signed by the Board following a site visit on 1/14/2019. Jamie to draft a letter to Mr. Ginsberg.

Payroll, vendor payments, and purchase orders-Manifest and Purchase Orders approved as submitted.

Miscellaneous / General Discussion
2 NHMA Legislative Bulletins received- noted

Selectman’s Old Business/ Further Research: Laura to provide an update on various items at next meeting.

Non-Public-Personnel:
Laura Merrifield made a motion to enter a Non-Public at 7:18pm, Marsha Cook seconded. The Board returned to the public meeting at 7:22pm.

Adjournment:
MOTION: Laura Merrifield moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:25pm.
SECOND: Marsha Cook
Unanimously approved.
