Board members present: Laura Merrifield, Marsha Cook, Jeff Burbank

Public: None

CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Laura Merrifield called the meeting to order at 6:30pm. Marsha Cook made a motion to amend the minutes of the January 14, 2019 meeting, seconded by Laura Merrifield. The minutes were unanimously approved as amended.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None

SELECTMEN’S BUSINESS:

Sullivan Congregational Church, Plowing and Sanding- Laura Merrifield related her conversation with Todd Smith of the Highway Department, regarding specific of the Town Highway Department doing the plowing and sanding. All Selectmen agreed that this should be done on a temporary basis to make certain it works for both parties. Laura will draft an agreement that includes a fee.


Update on Old Business Items, Junkyards:                                                                                                                                                                      62 Ellis Road, recommend keeping this on list as waiting for Attorney response. Deadline for response is February 13, 2019.
                                                                                                                                                                                      14 Rugg Road, many improvements have been completed; recommend this item be removed from list. 



188 Gilsum Road, owners making payments to the Town, recommends this item be removed from list.

267 Centre Street, need to follow-up as car carrier is to be dismantled, recommend to keep on list

419 South Road, has had some cleaning up, recommend this item be removed from list.

193 Gilsum Road, no reply from owners to the occupancy of camper, Laura Merrifield drove by on 1/17/2019 and stated it does not appear that the camper is being used, recommend this item be removed from list.                                                                                                                                                                  
Other items -                                                                                                         

24 Arlen Drive, Tax deeded property with auction to follow, recommend keeping this on list.

96 Ferry Brook Road, has received ZBA approval for variance, board needs to write the owner regarding applying for a building permit, recommend keeping this on list.



PSNH/ Eversource, pending litigation. Remove years 2012 and 2013. Recommend keeping this on list.



Vehicles for Research, recommend this item be removed from list.  

No Payroll or vendor payments approved, as manifest not received due to MRI Holiday, one purchase order approved as submitted.
Loren Martin of Avitar confirmed February 25, 2019 for startup meeting for the 2019 update.

Sheriff’s Dept. log for December received

Non-Public Legal 
Laura Merrifield made a motion to enter a Non-Public meeting at 7:45pm. Jeff Burbank seconded motion. The Board returned to the public meeting at 8:06pm.
