Draft Meeting Minutes, March 12, 2018

Board members present: Chairman Laura Merrifield, Joe Lewandowski and Jeff Burbank

CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Laura Merrifield called the meeting to order at 6:30pm. Jeff Burbank made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 5, 2018 meeting, seconded by Joe Lewandowski. The minutes were unanimously approved. Jeff Burbank made a motion to accept the non-public minutes of March 5, 2018, seconded by Joe Lewandowski. The minutes were unanimously approved. 

PUBLIC COMMENT-None. 
 
SELECTMEN’S BUSINESS:

Review of draft Fraud Policy and draft Credit Card Policy-The drafts were distributed and will be reviewed in two weeks. 

Discussion of Highway Compensation-Discussion ensued as how to best compensate highway employees during the training/transition period of the new Road Agent. 
 
Payroll, Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders-Purchase orders and manifest approved as submitted.

Miscellaneous/General Discussion-NHMA legislative bulletin, received. SWRPC Highlights, received. Mitchel Municipal Group invitation, received. Trustees February reports, received. E-mail from George Sansoucy regarding HB1381, received. 

Board of Selectmen-General Discussion-Follow up on communication from Attorney Gary Kinyon; he wants the Board to visually verify campers are vacated. On 14 Rugg Road it was reported that the camper still had lights on and smoke coming out of the chimney. Laura and Jeff will check out the camper at 419 South Road. Election day schedule reviewed. Joe Lewandowski reported on an exchange that he had with Steve Buckley, NHMA lawyer about Road Agent compensation. Joe Lewandowski brought up a concern about the planning Board appointment schedule he will talk to Mary Hull Town Clerk.
