Minutes of March 16, 2009

Selectmen Present: Cheryl Labadie, Mark Paquette.

Town Officials Present: Neil "Al" Henry (Fire Chief), and Mary Hull (Tax Collector, Town Clerk, and Cemetary, Chris Pratt (Library Trustee).

Others Present: Rick Hotchkiss, Christa patterson.

Rick Hotchkiss turned in his key to the town hall and selectmen's office.

Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.

Payroll and Bills were Approved

Christa Patterson stopped in to thank Randy Smith for a job well done on Price Rd.

Cheryl Labadie swore Mary Hull in as Town Clerk, Tax Collector, and Cemetary Trustee.

Mary Hull swore in Mark Paquette in for Selectmen.

Mary Hull swore in Lorraine Lindamood for Town Treasurer.

Mark Paquette made a motion to nominate Cheryl Labadie as Chairman of the board of Selectmen; Cheyl accepted the nomination.

Chris Pratt submitted a letter of request to the Selectmen on behalf of the Library Trustees for the town appropration to fund the library operating expenses for the current yeart. The library Trustees oversees all normal library expenditures.

Neil "Al" Henry inquired of Mark Paquette's Address and phone number for the Town updated list. He submited a purchase order for the Hurts Jaws of Life and other rescue tools from Northeast Emergency Apparatus as approved at Town Meeting. Other purchase orders approved were for routine maintenance and annual inspections of fire department vehicles, medical supplies, and suction unit for the difibrillator unit.

Purchase orders for Monadnock Family Service, Southwestern Community Service, The Community Kitchen, and Home Health Care, they were approved.

The Selectmen reviewed and signed the Report of Appropriations Actually Voted (form MS-2) to be submitted to the NH Department of Revenue Administration; this document will be utilized when the new town tax rate for 2009 is determined.

Cheryl Labadie briefly explained the responsibilities of the Selectmen to Mark Paquette.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
