Board members present: Acting Chairman Jeff Burbank and Joe Lewandowski 

Department Heads/Officers: Health Officer-Laura Lewandowski

Staff: Kate Fuller, Administrative Assistant

Public: None

A. CALL TO ORDER: Acting Chairman Jeff Burbank called the meeting to order at 6:30. Jeff Burbank made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 13, 2017 meeting, seconded by Joe Lewandowski. The minutes were unanimously approved as amended. 

B. PUBLIC COMMENT-None

C. SELECTMEN’S BUSINESS:

1. Laura Lewandowski-Health Officer-reported that she and Jeff Burbank visited 419 South Road in response to an odor complaint. The odor is likely caused by their pig. Another odor complaint was lodged regarding the Sullivan Post Office; Laura and Jeff investigated this complant and found a blackened pool of water on the property. Laura Lewandowski will contact the property owner to discuss the leach field. 

2. 2018 Holiday Schedule for Approval-Approved by Board. 

3. Financial Reports and adjusting expenses-October-Acknowledged by the Board. 

4. Inspection report from Attorney-62 Ellis Road-The Board decided to wait until all three of the Selectmen were available to make a decision about this property. 

5. Eric White-Conservation Commission-Mr. White brought up a concern by e-mail about Winch Hill Road. Heavy Trucks are deeply rutting the road. He would like to padlock the gate. This issue will be researched and the Road Agent, Randy Smith will be consulted. 

6. Payroll, Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders-Purchase orders and manifest approved as submitted.

Miscellaneous/General Discussion-Communication about tax payment plan for 101 Gilsum Road, received. Kate brought the campground ordinance and some e-mails from Planning Board Chairman, Leslie Casey in response to information that the camper at 14 Rugg Road is going to be used as a permanent dwelling; these were received by the Board. 

Board of Selectmen-General Discussion-Jeff Burbank reported that he has the Animal Control Ordinance ready for discussion. Mr. Burbank has suggested the Board have a meeting devoted to ordinances.

D. ADJOURNMENT:  
MOTION: Jeff Burbank moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 pm.
