The Town of Sullivan would like to thank Ed Plaisted for his generous donation of $352.00 the labor and materials needed for the construction of the new front steps at the Library.

Purchase orders for approval.

Jane Forston, Chair of Monadnock Regional School Board has invited one member of the Board of Selectmen to serve on the Northern Schools Committee as it looks at the possibility of closing the Sullivan School. Cheryl Labadie chairperson of the Selectmen has volunteered.

Correspo9ndence from Mary Pinkham-Langer was given to the Selectmen regarding the letter sent to the LaVantures from the ZBA. The ZBA misstated information about the amount of land no longer eligible for current use classification. Approximately a quarter of an acre of land has been disturbed by the excavation and is no longer eligible for current us classification – this change was made by Avitar at the end of August but a bill for land use change tax has not yet been issued. If the LaVantures "reclaim" that portion of land then they may re-apply to put that portion back into current use.

Resident present: Chris Pratt came to discuss with the Selectmen about replacing septic system. The tank needs to be replaced. Selectmen said for Chris to come in to see Fawn, she will give him the necessary paperwork that he will need. Then Chris needs to bring paperwork in to the Selectmen for review.

There was a discussion about the new Library door and steps.

Chris Pratt asked if he could borrow a few chairs for a meeting at the Library. Selectmen helped him with the chairs.

Neil "Al" Henry Fire chief was present.

There have been many compliments about the new library door and steps.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Heidi Bobeen
