  1. CALL
    TO ORDER: Chairman Laura Merrifield called the meeting to order at

    6:30 pm.
    Laura Merrifield made a motion to approve the minutes of the
    November 14, 2016 meeting, seconded by Joe Lewandowski. The minutes
    were unanimously approved.

  1. PUBLIC
    COMMENT-None

  1. SELECTMEN’S
    BUSINESS:

  1. Road
    Agent Randy Smith and Cemetery Trustee Mary Hull-Discussion of tree
    removal expenses
    -Discussion
    of tree work for both the cemeteries and the roads and the
    associated costs.

  1. Town
    Clerk Mary Hull
    -Mary
    gave an update on the status of the tax deeding for the property of
    Roland and Kathleen Fernandes of 101 Gilsum Road.

  1. Payroll,
    Vendor Payments and Purchase Orders
    -Approved
    as submitted.

  1. Formulation
    of Selectmen’s Budget
    -Laura
    Merrifield walked the Board through the prepared budget line by line
    with explanations of what made up each category as well as the
    rational for any changes. The tax implications of expanding the
    veteran’s credit were discussed.

  1. Miscellaneous/General
    Discussion
    -Disposal
    of the large tables reviewed, and the purchase of two new office
    chairs approved. Allan Treadwell of Twin Bridge Services will be
    providing a contract for the Board for IT services. Avitar sent a
    copy of the data verification letter and list of addresses being
    reviewed. Kate confirmed with Fissette Flooring that they would
    start the floor refinishing on Wednesday.
