Town of Sullivan, N.H. Board of Selectmen Approved Meeting Minutes October 10, 2011 – 7:30 PM Sullivan Town Hall
Board members present: Richard Hotchkiss, Chair, Bob Thayer, Mark Paquette
Department heads present: Randy Smith
Also present: Karen Luebkeman, Administrative Assistant
A. CALL TO ORDER: Rick Hotchkiss opened the meeting at 7:32
B. CITIZEN’S DISCUSSION: Non Scheduled
Randy Smith reported on roadwork being done on various roads. South Road has been ground up and is back to gravel. Tuesday and Wednesday, (October 11th&12th) work will continue on Sullivan road with fabric and recycled asphalt being put down. Paving on this portion of the road will be done in 2012.
Purchasing a roller in the future was discussed as it currently costs the Town of Sullivan $4,000.00 plus/minus to rent one, which is often done on an annual basis. A used roller could be purchased for around $15,000.00 and then a trailer would need to be purchased as well.
C. SELECTMEN’S BUSINESS:
1. Payroll and Vendor Manifest
2. Sign DRA’s Timber Tax copies
3. Signature for ICMA Retirement account.
4. Signature for Rental Agreement with NoreTRAX for Roller.
5. Signatures for PO’s over $500.00.
6. Approve Meeting Minutes from October 3, 2011
MOTION: Rick Hotchkiss moved to approve the October 3rd Meeting
Minutes.
SECOND: Bob Thayer and Mark Paquette seconded.
E. ADJOURNMENT:
Meeting was adjourned by agreement at 8:45 PM.
