September 26, 2011 Selectmen Minutes

Town of Sullivan, N.H. Board of Selectmen

Board members present: Richard Hotchkiss, Chair, Bob Thayer

Department heads present: Al Henry, Karl Wheeler, Randy Smith

Also present: Karen Luebkeman, Administrative Assistant

A. CALL TO ORDER: Rick Hotchkiss opened the meeting at 7:35

B. CITIZEN’S DISCUSSION: Non Scheduled

Randy Smith provided a list of individuals with unfinished curb cuts, identifying those without escrowed funds. Board of Selectmen will send out letters regarding this situation with the Town’s expectations.

Randy discussed culverts being installed on Sullivan Road by the Highway Department. Road will be closed most of the day for Tuesday and Wednesday and is posted accordingly.

Ann Sweet advised Rick Hotchkiss that the bid for the wood furnace was higher than the grant, which is for $46,000.00. The bid came in at $54,000.00. Next step is to see what if any the bid can be reduced and what the Town may/may not be willing to contribute to me the additional costs.

Jim Forest filed for abatement because the mobile home on his property had been removed.
